DEAR FELLOW MEMBERS OF KEHILAS YESHORIM

As our community grows, there are numerous opportunities for us to join in celebration!

 We would like to introduce to the Kehila a new concept in collecting funds for such occasions via a: SIMCHA FUND.

The SIMCHA FUND would work as follows:

1)    Each family from the Kehila will contribute a set amount of money once a year to the SIMCHA FUND.  (approximately $100)

2)    The families that contribute to the fund will be the recipients of a neighborhood gift/food by their Bar Mitzvah, Kiddush, Aufruf, Vort, Sholom Zachor etc.  (a set amount will be established) Please consider joining. 

3)    An email will be sent to all SIMCHA FUND participants following an event notifying them that a gift was sent on their behalf.

BENEFITS:

1)    Minimize the time consuming task of collecting money, counting money and writing up lists for each event. (which can be hours for the collector)

2)    Minimize the task of remembering and having to drop off money by each event.

3)    Cost effective. The same amount of money will be given each time (depending on what type of event it is). $3-$5 which will add up to a significant gift.

4)    BRINGING UNITY AND SIMCHA TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AT ONCE!

 We will only be establishing this fund with a minimum of 50 families
